Hello everyone, I am new to this forum but have been on a few others before...I found this forum while I was looking for help to fix my GT as she has been out of commission for awhile now. I finally have determined the problems, and after searching the forums for an answer, I might be posting my question.

If anyone sees this, can a bad knock sensor cause the a/c to not blow cold? Don't mean to sound stupid, but the timeframe of my a/c not blowind cold matches when I believed my knock sensor went bad...

Hi, welcome to the forums, im pretty new on this forum, and to my car. (98 GTP) Im from houston as well, down near stafford

We are both cursed with A/C problems i guess, Mine will not blow to just one area, it blows through the defroster, the face, and the feet, no matter what selection i make on the DCC

No. Knock sensor retards engine timing. Nothing to do with the A/C system.

Yeah I figured as much Mystic, but for some reason at the same time my knock sensor problem popped up my a/c stopped blowing cold, but I also have an electrical issue so it might be due to that, who knows?

Also, I have been trying to figure out a gas leak for awhile now, and think I almost got it. I have a 2002 GT and on the top of the engine near the back of the intake manifold there is a plastic fuel supply line with a 90 degree connector that connects to a plastic quick connect fitting that hooks to a metal fuel (I guess fueal rail) line. - have replaced the 3/8 quick connects many times but have finally figured out that its the o-rings inside that 90 degree fitting.

Does anyone know what I am talking about, how to fix it, and if I can buy those o-rings or the piece? I will post photos to help...

MODS-if I need to put this in a different thread or something please let me know..
