Hello fellas, My name is Sonny.I picked up a 98 pontiac GTP at a charity auction for $344 Yes $344..(220,000 Miles) it had tires & wheels missing too.Anyway I been away from drag racing for about 9 years now ( Had a Big Block Nova )...and after 3 ex wives and 48 years of living on this planet...i'm ready to pour money into something i cant have sex with.

Ok do you all have a list of Modification for these cars?My car is automatic. 220,000 miles supercharged. i just put in a new transmission T65E i think.I added a cold air intake, and i just bought a junk yard motor to rebuild.

    Any input would be appreciated.

Ok...see all the mods....Now a few questions..Now please take in mind i'm an old school drag racer. And i do mean old school...No Nitrous,No electronics (Rev limiter only)No turbo's no superchargers Not even injection! oh and the Number 1 NO NO from my generation 4 doors arent performance cars...I know let the flaming begin.

now with that said i'm not entirely close minded to change.

If i did this my way i would Omit the supercharger,Put a set of 11:1's in it
Roller rockers roller cam,Msd ignition Small stall speed converter (2500) keep the injection, Set of Nickens aluminum heads.

Now with that said, first off my reason for doing this is 2 fold.I'm anti Import especially Honda's.and 2 i like a challenge.4 door front wheel drive ...and ( Gulp ) V-6.

I found a Pontiac 3800 block non super charged from my Salvage yard. Looks like ZZperformance has a lot for these cars anone else on everyones favorite list?

pfyc.com...........Morad Parts company if you need any OEM parts....This should get you a good start..........so you are going NA with no EFI? or are you using EFI........if so.......find someone who can tune(not zzperformance), You can also check out the vendors on this site as well........depending on what you need. Triple Edge Performance has awesome trannys....check them out.

I think for my own sanity i'll stick with Supercharger and EFI, seems to be tons of info.and if i run into a setup problem i can always ask questions and i wont have a car thats one of akind.Dropped the block off today at the speed shop.gonna have it hot tanked .030 over new cam bearings.Another question..what do you all do for an oil pan ? & pickup? iof it was Front engine rear wheel,9 qt & deep sump with a baffled pan,i tend to use high volume not high pressure...
