Thread: New guy with a new (98) GP

Hey everyone! So i just bought myself a black 1998 Grand Prix GT with some light blue and purple pin-striping along the doors. I was really hoping for a GTP but this one I found only has 28,000 miles on it so I couldn't pass it up. I guess it was owned by an old lady so the car is spotless inside and out. The only thing I don't like about it is it has two real little Pooh Bears on it, one on the hood and one on the trunk but hopefully I will get those taken off asap. I have no pictures because I have no camera but hopefully I will find a way to get some eventually. Anyway just wanted to say hi. I'm hoping to learn a lot about the car on here and hopefully have the money to do some changes to it soon.

Thanks! I like that, offending womanage haha. It's hard to tell whether the Poohs are stickers or if they were painted on. Would a blow dryer work either way and would I need to use anything else? Also would it take the pin-striping off because it's right near it? Thanks.

Thanks a lot. That worked well with the dealer decal but the Pooh is definitely paint. I've only had the car for four days and everytime I've been home its been pouring so I never really got to look at the car that closely. I realized though since I finally got to look at it that the pin-striping was done by a guy right down the road from me. I'm going to take it to him soon to see what he could do about it.
