Hey guys just bought a 2002 Grand Prix GTP with 148,000k. its got a couple dings in the paint, but other than that mint condition! all for $5800 after new tires and taxes.

my name is Chris, im 19, I live in kamloops B.C, and I work spraying fruit trees , and i just started a job at a big wedling shop in town.

As you can see i also own a 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee I have been building up.

its name is "POS" (peice of sh!t)

    (as of now)
    I6 ~210HP ~325ft/lbs of torque 12.5MPG
    33" x 13.50" Mickey Thompson BAJA claws
    4-3/4" lift
    bedlined interior
Dual core double pass radiator with electric fan
Straight pipe to turn down under passenger rear door.
3-1/6" plate custom made bumper with frame rail sleeving and bracing held on with 8 1/2" 14,000lbs BS bolts.
    ABS delete
    AC delete

    (in the works)
I have a DANA 60 front, and a Dana 70 rear out of a dual ford F350 dually (should be about 9' wide with the offset rims)
    Cummins Turbo 24V ISB ~300HP ~450ft/lbs of torque 30MPG
Custom fab 120L gas tank (have plans already just have to fab)
    Custom rock sliders

    (future)
    Frame rail bracing
    Full cage with partial EXO
    40" tires
    Rear chop (hummer back)
    rear mounted radiator
    ARB air lockers
    Full hydro stearing
Custom 4link triangulated long arms (removes need for trac bars)
4-1/2" lift (the tires will be pushed forward for the front and back for the rear, this allows me to aproach and leave tall steep obsticals, without digging the bumper and allows me to run a low stable lift)
Fox remote resoviour 18" travel coil overs all around
    on board air
    atlas transfer case
    doubler
    new shafts
    4 wheel disc brakes

all hydro lines and brake lines will run down the upper control arms, so the flex will only be limited to the travel of the coil overs, which will be mounted in a V setup so basically my axel will be able to drop further than 3 feet (ALOT)

So naturally i cant have a car and not build it!

    so welcome to "Project Sleeper"

So im knew to the car scene and I lack knowledge of what works and parts, but i think i have a small portion of my plan!

First off I am buying a programmer, I havent found one yet, so if you have a suggestion let me know. I want a programmer that can be changed "on the fly" as i modify the car more, as of now it will just be tuned for a little more power and better economy. i want it to be able to check and clear codes, but more specifically i would like it to be able to remove the need for the downstream of the cat o2 sensor. I want to remove my cat for right now till i get my better exhaust. it need to be able to tweak shift points rev limits all those goodies ect... for later on! I have been looking at the APEXI and a Hypertech one.

then i want a shift kit, I was looking at the transgo, but im hearing better performance gains from the intense kit.

then i have been trying to find a functional ram air hood, and i will put the SLP ram air intake on the car. then I will do SLP equal length headers down to 3" straight pipes to some quiet high flow mufflers.

I will do alot of driveline upgrades, brakes, sway bars, beefing up.

I may do a throttle body spacer, and some other small bolt on mods from here, but then i will wait...

(I HAVE NOT RESEARCHED FROM HERE, its just things i will proboly look into)

I am a beginner welder, and in one year i will have my experience and training to get on pipeline or camp work. from there i have a freind who rebuilds engines I will pay him to rebuild mine, with new preformance cam, crank, the works... then i will be putting a water/methnol injection, porting the charger and heads (may replace heads and/or charger, may not i will find out later) i will be doing the small pulley, MSD ignition modual, intercooler in the charger and tranny.

I have not looked to deep into these mods, so some may work, may not. but i will cross that bridge then.

i want to get to 350BHP-400BHP "eventually"

hey guys so the friday after next i will have the money for my tunner. so i have been looking around, and im really not sure what i want v

there is alot of choices out there, and i have no clue were to start lol

so I kinda looked it up and i am looking for something like Hypertech Hyperpac Performance Computer. but it does not seem that they make one for our cars.

i want to be able to have real time engine monitering and recording, i want to have code reader/clearer, i obviously want it to be able to control my engine i would like to be able to change shift points, rev limits, fuel bla, bla, bla you get the point. and im hearing that some of then can even remove the need for the rear 02 sensor perminatly, one less thing for me to replace later lol...

    any suggestions?
