    Hello,

My name is Larry, me and my wife own a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GP 40th Aniversery Edition. I am in the military been in for 5 years now kind of a love hate relationship.

Why I am here we are having a problem with the Pontiac. The Car was bought with 30k miles on it. After about a month the check engine light came on, so we had it tested and found out that the catalytic converter was bad (factory recall) and had it replaced well due to the faulty cat it had melted the O2 sensors in it and those were replaced also. The car cleared the code and worked fine for about a day then the check engine came on again. Check the code same thing so we replaced all of the 02 sensors, and the cat once again. Now the car has 100k miles on it and works fine except for the light. Due to the light being on the car will not pass state inspection. I am getting frisutrated with this car becuase i have spent 600 for a stupid light that wont go away. The code is Catalytic Converter Effiecency Low. I really need this light to go away soon we are moving to California and they are alot more strict on cars there and I dont have alot of money to keep dumping into a money pit. Any inputs would be nice Thanks.
