My name is Jim Gula, and I'm from Lorain, Ohio. Lorain's in between Cleveland and Toledo right on the shore of Lake Erie.

My previous car was a red 1998 Grand Prix GTP that I bought "new" as a demo with 10,000 miles on it. I drove it for 11 years and racked up 145,000 miles. It was a great car, and was finally traded in this past weekend.

Now I have a silver 2006 Grand Prix GXP. It's an even more awesome vehicle as the previous.

My first order of business though, is to figure out why my "check tire pressure" light won't go off even though there's nothing wrong with the pressures.

Actually, after I picked up the car Saturday, I had to take it on a 4 hour round trip. I noticed the car was pulling slightly to the left. Sunday morning I checked the tire pressures, and the front left only had 20 lbs in it. The indicator light never came on until after I fixed the pressure in the low tire. For anyone who needs to know, they all have about 35 lbs in them.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanx for the welcome everyone.

I checked the manual, and evidentally the syetem will reset itself once it "learns" the pressure in the tire I corrected. As of today, this still hasn't happened, but I'll give it a little more time and see.

Welcome to the forum. Happy to have you here.
Does yours have the reset button for the tire pressure under the dash on the drivers side?

I'll have to look that up in the manual. So far I've just been using the reset button on the dash readout. This has to be done every time the car's restarted though. It'd be nice to find something a little more permanent.

What I've learned is the tire that was low when I took delivery looses a pound of air a day.
