I have a 2005 GT the 3.8 V6 (non-supercharger) my head gasket blew. I am pondering if it is cheaper/easier to just get an entire engine or have it rebuilt. Plan to have taken to the shop monday. I was toying with the idea of dropping the supercharger version in it. If I bought that engine what amount of extra work would be needed or would it pretty much mount right in there.

just tuning pretty much. the sc and na trannys come with different gears. so you'd be best off with a supercharged engines tune and the na gearing in the tune for the tranny.
