My favorite car, by far, was my white '62 Grand Prix. It was a factory air car with every option--A/C, Magi-Cruise, Autronic Eye, Power Antenna, 8 Lug wheels, & Tripower to mention a few. Sold it because my ex-wife hated it. Also had a silver '62 Grand Prix with a black top.
In 2007, my new wife and I bought a '07 Grand Prix GXP, which we loved, but traded the GXP and a 2004 GTO for a 2009 Buick Enclave, which was OK, but it wasn't a Pontiac. Just a few weeks after that, it was announced Pontiac was closing its doors.
Last week, we bought a 2008 Grand Prix GXP for a winter car for my wife. Note that it has an aftermarket hood, which I had no idea even existed. I joined this forum as I will be needing technical help with a few issues with the car so far.
In any case, the 2008 GXP is a North Carolina car with virtually no rust. Driving it in Wisconsin Winters will quickly convert it to a rust bucket. She can't drive her 2014 Chev SS with its wide tires. I've tried that and will never try again!
