    Please do, I had the exact same problem, car was having issues going up hills, misfiring when accelerating. Got rid of Cat and car stopped doing all of those things immediately. But don't wait too long, ended up having to replace engine because of it.

    Mine backed up so bad the egr? melted a hole thru the intake

    Update on power loss and flashing p0300 code.Before I had a chance to drop the cat to see if performance improved the car started running smooth again no codes no loss of power. Took car on highway and got on it hard no problems stumped on this one still would like any input why its started to run good again

    cat dislodged its self and is flowing better. it will clog up again, you'll see.

    98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

    sounds like your gonna drive it anyways lol buy yourself a new dp with cat. install it. problem solved.

    if you were to hit the cat with the palm of your hand, cold of course, i bet you hear it rattle inside.
