Hello everybody. New guy here in MN. Not new to forums or cars so hopefully I will be able to find what I need using the search function. I have an 07 Grand Prix base with about every option on it. It's just my daily but I can't leave anything alone so I find myself searching all hours for upgrades. Anyhow I do need to replace the struts and would like to upgrade a bit and it sounds like the Impala Fleet struts seem to be the way to go for a budget upgrade? I have looked in the suspension section already but I was a bit confused and seems like a few years too late on parts availability haha. Thanks in advance for any help.

Are you looking to do it yourself? or paying someone.

Drop in spring/strut combo (aka quikstrut) or using old springs and new struts.

Post the link your were thinking about from>?? rockauto??

AND how much are you spending? besides the obvious the bestest for the lessest

I am doing it myself. I have a shop with a lift. Just looking for best bang for the buck and something that will get rid of the boat feeling and make the car feel a bit more planted and confident. I know the current struts are on their way out so I want to fix that before I start looking at sway bars and STBs. Also I am going to check all of the bushings over before I modify anything. Its a daily so I don't want to go crazy. I was looking originally at KYBs but have read not so great reviews for these cars. Sounds like most people go for the Fleet Impala Monroe's. Just not sure exactly what years they come off of. Also new strut mounts and fabbing up my own anti pogo washers if they seem needed. I might look at lowering springs but I don't know yet the factory springs are in good shape.

How is your sway bar endlinks set up..strut or Control arm.
I would think it's the LCA so pick a 06-11 Impala on Rockauto.

If you are capable of the switcheroo, which you are....go for the FE3s from the 04 or 05 Grand Prix or check out the KYB AGXs from ZZP or wherever.

Otherwise 06-11 Impalas or any year 97-08 GP
