Apparently not just my wheel hubs that need replacing, the abs module as well. You guys know any place to get it cheap other than a junkyard? Also when switching the wheel hub assembly do I need to replace for all four wheels or just the two up front? This is for an 02 GTP.

If you do all 4 at once, when one starts going you know the others aren't far behind...

You can have the module rebuilt online for somewhere around $100-$150, IIRC. SaukRapids knows more on that.

Get Timken, or SKF wheel hubs, those tend to last a decent bit longer than the cheaper ones.

Dunno what the JY is asking. I recommend sending it to Matt at http://www.cheapabs.com/about.html for an $85 repair. ($100 w/active braking)

He rebuilt mine. Probably send it in before you go and buy all 4 new hubs, see which are really bad.

General directions are on Matt's site. The hardest part is there's a plug on the bottom. I wedged a screwdriver in between the ABS aluminum body and the black steel mounting bracket to get the last screw.

I had trouble getting ahold of Matt through his site. This is him on ebay - http://www.ebay.com/itm/ABS-module-r...R7Sni28c76r1pg, this item is the Active Brake service http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pontiac-Gran...R7Sni28c76r1pg

Or, shoot him a text during business hours. (434) 298-4150

Cheapest shipping method is a 6x6x6 box (walmart/office store) paid with regular postage. Less than a flat rate box.

Good luck. Don't pay any shop to "reprogram" the ABS. It's plug n play.

Since I remember the process being a little unclear -

I used ebay/paypal to buy the item from seller "bosch0004"

Get a box after you wrangle that thing outta there. Use packing tape around the module to shackle them shiny cylinders in place, like the prisoners they deserve to be.

Print out the paypal receipt and do some ninjitsu origami on that B, stick that new giraffe in the box, then see a man about postage.

Hit up Matt "Madman" Mallory from the number on his card to let a guy know there's a box headed directly to his brain case.

Here, check this out. Even has professional materials n sh*t -

    Good'nuff.
