I'd like to know what mods I should do , I have done 3" exhaust and performance cat and mufflers , intake , that's about it. I was thinking tuning pcm but not sure.... best tune for it also? Have kids so money isn't very much for things like this but I find ways to slowly purchase. I bought the car for a good price so I didn't have to drive my diesel everywhere all the time! I want power comparable to my souped up f250 but I know that's probably many mods but you guys let me know if you don't mind what to start with and what the gains are as well as price! I appreciate all your input a lot. Also is water /meth a good investment for my gtp cu I can make a kit from parts I have at home and a washer pump ... thanks

There's a litany of maintenance items that should probably be done first. What year? If there's dexcool in it, you want that out right away. The lower intake manifold gaskets leak, those done? The transmission changed fluid/filter? Fluid/filter and a Trans-go for the 4T65E run me about $100. Coolant elbows still OEM plastic? You don't want those.

The list continues. Not trying to hate, but first thing's first.

    Cheap/Fast/Reliable

The rule is you can only have two of the three at any one time, so chose wisely! Cheap/Fast -Reliability, Fast/Reliable -Cheap, Cheap/Reliable -Fast...

so there you have it, lol, check the Safely Modding thread, is worth reading and will answer a bunch of your questions. Water/Meth? Ehhhh... I say isn't worth the trouble. This platform is tired and true proven what works and what doesn't. Thing is plan out what you want, then put it all together. There really isn't any guess work.

Switch it to e85, drop pulleys, and you'll be a lot closer to that f250.
