Cheap "mod" would be a DIY open cone intake. That's about all you can do with only $100, and if you really get into the throttle you might be able to feel/hear it.
I paid $45 for a pulley and hub 6 or 7 years ago, before I had to give parts away to get rid of them.
It's pretty hard to sell 42's for $150 when 60's bring just over $100.
idk where you shop, but it sounds like stolen parts.
new 60's are 180 bucks fyi. 42's aint far behind.
maybe you need to search the classified ads here. then go tell everyone they are asking to much.......
The prices are out there if you look. You are going to have a hard time finding them on this site.
125K with unknown maint. history, I'd do the LIM gaskets/coolant elbows, change the plugs/wires and change the oil in the S/C. Then I'd do a trans. pan drop/filter change/transgo kit/refill as well to keep the built of glass trans happy for as long as possible.
X2
Engine oil and filter change
Trans oil, flush, and filter change
Flush and refill coolant
Change air and fuel filters
Drain and refill power steering, brake, and supercharger fluids
Spark plugs and wires
Take care of the preventative maintenance then move on to the fun stuff.
Save your money man. With $100 you are not going to get any worthwhile "mods" done. I can think of a few things around $100. So, if you really have the itch...
1. Cold Air Intake ($83)= http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...derwell-intake
2. 1 set of poly motor mounts and 1 set of poly dog bushings ($70)
3. TransGo shift kit & Trans Filter & Trans Fluid ($70-100)
4. Trailing Arms ($50-100)
5. ZZP rear sway bar ($100)
Other odds and ends could be thrown in here. Good Luck.
