Does a 2002 Grand Prix GTP have "Performance Shift"?
Does a 2002 Grand Prix GTP have a button somewhere for air recirculation?
Make that three. I was planning on changing the transmission fluid and filter, buddy of mine told me just to change the fluid and not the filter. Something about it acting differently after changing the filter (in a bad way). Should I change just the fluid?

no perf shift button, but you still kinda have when you floor it, it goes into that mod on its own. you can add it if you want.

no clue on the recirculation button. my regal has one tho

thats dumb. change the filter. your pal needs help lol

dont flush it, only drop th epan, change the filter, clean the pan and factory gasket with brake cleaner and bolt it back up.

be worth installing a shift kit while the pans off too. another whole 30 bucks to the list of parts. you also need 8 qts of new fluid.

Lol, I found it odd he told me not to change the filter, wasn't sure if that was just a Grand Prix thing of not changing the filter.

Clean factory gasket? I was told if I buy the filter it also comes with a gasket for the pan, should I not use that new gasket?

Never heard of a shift kit, do you know of a guide or video that explains how to install that?

    Thanks for the help!

There are guides on here, search around.

To my knowledge the manual climate controls that come on the 01-03 cars do not have a recirculation button. The 97-00 digital climate controls did have a button.
