    Hey everyone,

My name is Steven, I'm up in North Mississippi.
this is my first time on any kind of forum but i have looked at a lot of different things on here that i was really impressed with. So much so that I went and bought my first Grand Prix. I have a 2004 Base.
I'm not so much into the performance aspect of my GP, it runs really well as it is. I'm not a racer or anything. I AM into doing a few things to give it a sexier curb appeal though. wheels, springs, minimal body modifications, LED upgrades, audio, etc.
The one major question I have though is how to get that G8 style hood I seen on a red GP on this forum. I don't really like the inferno hood so much as that sexy ass G8 hood. Any thoughts or suggestions?
I'm wanting an aggressive stance even though I only have a stock series 3, 3800. (Not Very Aggressive). Id also like to give it a more aggressive tone as well if its at all possible. I know its not a GXP, but come on........
What respectable body mods can be done to it? I cant stand Body Kits, so..........
Anyway, I hope to learn a lot from everyone and I hope i can get this picture of my GP outta my head and make it a reality.
    Thanks in advance.

the g8 hood the guy has is custom made, got the $$$ laying around and you can have it made too at a body shop.

I'm not exactly sure which picture of a hood, but I think the red one? Almost certain that guy found a G8 hood and had the scoops cut out and put onto an 04+ at a body shop.

There's some Special Edition parts listed around here somewhere. I'll find a link in a moment. I have part numbers for the SE front lip and rear valance: Lip - GM PN# 19120589, Rear - GM PN# 19120590

Front lip, factory rear diffuser (found on special edition cars) , lower it and put some aftermarket wheels on it. 18's at a minimum in size with 245/45/18 tires.

If you install halo headlights you'll hate yourself because of the light output. Retrofit some projectors in there for looks and great lighting. GPO/GXP spoiler or whatever they are called, they look way better than the standard spoiler.

    That's it for my idea's.

Gentlemen, i truly apologize, its not an 04, its an 06. Massive brain fart! I apologize.
anyway, as soon as i can figure out how to post up pics ill show yall a list of the mods ive gotten set up for my car.
I know we can put Mustang wheels on these cars, but what year model mustangs can we use? and is there anything as far as spacers we may need? I found a set of 2014 mustang 18" stock takeoff wheels can i use those?

That hood is pretty damn sweet.

I like using this site to look up OEM wheel size.
    https://www.wheel-size.com/size/pontiac/grand-prix/

While I was pouring through old threads I had stumbled upon a post where someone posted a site where it listed all the cars that match a specific rim size OEM but I couldn't find it.... If I do I will edit and add

I found my old notes. It might help with the numbers besides what's on the above link, but I only have 17" & 18" rim written down.

17" Tire up to 8.5" wide. Lug pattern: 5x115 or 5x114.3 (lug bores vary, so some 114.3's may not fit), Offset: Min 32mm (to clear caliper), Max 50mm (may rub/need fenders rolled)

18" Tire up to 8.5" wide. Same lug pattern, Offset: Min 38mm, Max 48mm
