I've got an interesting problem. I've got a 2004 Grand Prix that just ran great. One morning about a week ago I went out to start it, and I noticed that the Check Engine Light came on immediately, and stayed on while I cranked the engine. Normally that light does not stay on once the key is turned. The car won't start, although it cranks well. No fuel or fire either.

I've checked the PCM fuse, fuel pump fuse, and made sure everything was plugged in. I thought it might be the computer, since absolutely nothing would function, so I got another one, but the same thing happens. I've returned the computer, and I've got a scan tool on the way, but I wanted to see if anyone else had this type of issue. It's like the whole system shut down, and nothing will operate. All other electronics operate normally.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

check for fuel pressure at the rail. key to on there should be pressure.

Idk about supercharged motors but if you used starter fluid you could narrow if it is a spark or fuel issue

probably the ignition switch. check for +12v at the injector connectors with KOEO, you should have power, KOEO you shouldn't. problem is that the relay doesn't get power to turn on power to the ign/fuel/etc because of a bad switch, even though it will crank over. since you have no fuel/fuel pump/ign, start there
