Hey guys I'm new to here but not new to the whole gm platforms and getting right down to business on a identical 04 gp gt2 (minus all the luxuries my 1st gp has) but $200 you can't beat it! I bought it from a friend who gave it the death kiss after I diagnosed a blow head gasket so she let me get it and I've already pulled everything off and cleaning all the milkshake and oil boogers lol and plan to repaint a dope a$$ color heads up.I know I run on but any quick this bits to consider while I have it open? Please and thanks

It's a Series 3 n/a non-sc and I wanna start the long journey to becoming a sleeper so any information would help.I have the knowledge, tools and copious amounts of beer to get anything done that and I also have a gig at the local O'Reillys so used parts are definitely out the question.

    Ayyyyyyyy!

Are you trying to keep your sleeper N/A or are you planning on adding some boost into the mix?

Well. Either way you're going to need a built trans if you want to make power, so that's going to run you about $4k.

If that didn't turn you away, you have to decide if you want to supercharge or turbo.

Is it bad I'm waiting on the non HD trans to fail so I can have a excuse to add a couple of goodies when I pull it

    There's nothing wrong with that.

It sounds like you've got a good direction in mind. Give this a read if you haven't already: http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...00-Powered-Car!!
