My 2002 Grand Prix GTP. Just wondering if you guys can point me to anything not stock installed on this car? Going to upload some pictures and hopefully you guys can tell me whether you see anything thats aftermarket. Here is a link to the pictures - http://s1255.photobucket.com/user/Fe...?sort=3&page=1

Also, I just recently replaced my motor and transmission mounts, yet it still makes an annoying ass clunk noise when I switch it to Reverse or Drive (Just one ding, not a constant noise). Any tips on what that could possibly be? Im thinking maybe a new transmission filter will be needed since its almost at 120k miles and not sure if it has ever been replaced. Shop said a new transmission will pretty much be the only solution to getting rid of that ding.

the intake that says K&N on the top should be extremely obvious as aftermarket. lol

But if you were saying actual engine parts wise, there isn't anything visible.

Shop is full of it, a new trans won't get rid of that clunk. (in other words, they're trying to get your money) check the CV joints, subframe bushings, LCA's and if all else fails strut mounts, they all can cause clunks. I got the same issue, but mine is a combo of everything. lol

hood open, shift it form P to R to D then back R and watch how much the engine moves, if its more then a inch or so the upper mounts on the rad side could be bad also.

best to get your ear in and under the car while some one shifts it in and out of gear to try to pin point it. dont sound like a bad tranny.

Just actually got done replacing my CV Axles, :c. Any idea how much a new transmission would cost me including labor?
Edit:Hmm alright i'll try to see how much its moving.
Edit: Sorry haha I am a complete idiot when it comes to this. :P Guess that was a big sign.

too much, and the trans is most likely perfectly fine. if it's not slipping or shifting hard, it is in perfect working order.
