    Good Day,
I have been a Grand Prix (Driving Excitement) since I was a kid growing up in Baltimore. My father had a 63 Grand Prix - that had a 389 with a four barrel carburetor. That is the vehicle I learned how to drive in. I would never own a GP until I retired from the Air Force. I had a 95 GP, 97 Bonneville, 2001 GP, 2003 GP and now have the last year of GP an 08. This has been the best so far. Unfortunately some of my previous ones had simple option that I wished I had on this one - but it is what it is. in 2012 with 103000 miles I drove this car from central Florida to Seattle WA. I'm planning the trip again this Sept but wont be taking the car this time. I've been having reduced power problems. Changed the throttle body sensor to no avail. Getting ready to change the accelerator sensor. Problem usually happens when in low idle after initial acceleration. The good thing is that if I turn off the motor until the low power light goes out and then start she runs great. I have no plans of replacing since most cars today look the same and don't offer what the GP does with out a hefty price tag.

P.S. I have an 89 corvette convertible and an 85 S-10 Special Edition

get it scanned for codes at the parts store for free if you dont own a scanner. if the cel is not on dont turn it orr, scan it running, your looking for a pending code.

reduced power is a bad maf a lot of the time.

Thanks for the info. I had it scanned and the shop wanted to charge me $1500.00 to change the two sensors. I changed the manifold and now getting ready to change the accelerator censor. Thanks Again!

if its not the tps it could be the gas pedal side of the sensors. you got drive by wire, no cable. the gas pedal has sensors in it that also go bad.

    good luck.
