I recently picked up a GTP Daytona 2000 with only 65k miles. I know the history of the car from 28k.
I have put about 2 to 3 k on the vehicle since i bought it and absolutely love driving it. I am know getting the itch to start modifying it. As it sits right now it has ram air hood, custom ghost flames, SLP proflo cat back (a little loud for my liking), thrasher intake, 20% tint, Alpine Head unit, Halo projector fogs, and LED lights swap in the interior.

Plans as of know is full sound deadening i have picked up CLD (
kno knoise Kolossus), MLV (DB-4looring), CCF (neoprene), and Melamine Foam for roof insulation.
I have Polk DB series 6.5" components for the front and 6x9" for the rear.

Will be picking up Speed Daddy headers shortly.

Things i am unsure about with the car is it had a pulley at one point before the SC needed to be rebuilt around 30k miles and the dealer installed a factory pulley.
So i am unsure of any other changes that were made to run the smaller pulley. I believe it has a 180 thermostat based on the temp the engine is running at, and throwing P0128 every now and then. I am unsure if the injectors have been replaced, but i can see they are white in color (is that stock color)??

I have been researching KR and getting a overall understanding on how it works and ways to help prevent it, rocker upgrades, and port and polish of the gen 3.

I am not new to modifying cars. I still have my first car 1998.5 Contour SVT with only 47k, i have been rebuilding it for about 6 years (actual hrs in the rebuild is very little) now after the accident.

I look forward to learn all the useful information that has been discussed here!

Factory injectors are white-ish. They tend to turn a yellowed color from age and heat cycles in the engine bay, I'm pretty sure they'd be stock.

Most of the generic mods will be enough to support a 3.4-3.6 pulley drop, just watching the engine parameters through a scanner is the key. A wideband never hurts either if you wish to start tuning yourself or get a in car tune done.

Halos installed. I am really happy with them and they are so bright you cant tell if the halogens are on or off. These replaced the glass Bling Light 5000K that had a broken lens from a rock.

One last one of the ram air hood (also has my SVT contour in the background)
