    Hello all! Greetings from Edmonton!

I just picked up my 2004 GTP CompG today. I needed a second car (primary car is an Avalanche and the fuel economy is not great at current prices), and my 98 Grand Prix company car was amazingly reliable. This one popped up at my local dealer, priced right, drove nice (ok, excellent), and I bought it right there and then. Wasn't even really in a mood to buy, but this one jumped out at me.

I am here lurking for a bit, but I am trying to get a feel for any potential gotchas with the SC engine, the electronics, and of course performance upgrades!!!!!

Welcome to the community and what we affectionately call the mod bug. First you'll do something simple and nearly fool proof like an intake and then you'll hit boost and go WOOOOOOOOOOOW!!! And, well after that we got you hooked like Michael Jackson at a daycare.

go and scare the poor guy, we are not like Michael Jackson (ok a few maybe, but not all) more like Charlie Sheen at a topless bar.... wait that isn't much better is it

    Thanks all!

The mod bug is ingrained in me...

    I've owned and customized
1974 Blazer - my first vehicle...
    1987 IROC-Z
    1987 C-10
    1979 F100
1938 Ford coupe (looked similar like this)
1968 Jag XK-E...ok, NO MODS ON THAT CLASSIC!!!!

Plus helped on various others...needless to say, the mod bug is in me and no cure will be sought!!!!! This is my first front drive project though, and my first blower. Can't be harder to play with than the XK-E's 3 SU downdraft carbs....
