Just bought a 2006 Grand Prix GT. Owner took immaculate care of the car, and I'm happy to have it. Only beef with it at the moment is how freakin' low the roof is! I have the seat lowered all the way, and I have to recline the seat quite a bit, and I still slightly touch the roof. I'm only 5'10".

Other than that, I'm diggin the car!

check if theres some crap under the seat, the whole seat should lower to the floor. im 6'6 and fit in my 98 regal pretty good, my seat does look like a lazy boy and i do look out the back window time to time lol but im a lank.

I'm surprised that at 5'10" you're having that problem. Me at 6' foot with the seat close to the wheel and the seatback pretty straight up, I feel very comfortable with no headroom issue.
I agree with Scotty to see if anything is stopping the movement.
