I'm new here, just introducing myself. Hope to learn many things here. I used to own a 2002 Grand Prix GTP. And plan on purchasing a 2006 Grand Prix GXP tomorrow after I get off work. Anything I should be looking for before purchasing?

Welcome! Really test out the transmission and see if it slips. They like to go bad around the 100k mile mark. Post pics if you buy it!

Ok definitely will check on that, I appreciate it. It has almost 78k miles on it. I really hope it turns out as good as it looks and sounds so I can purchase it!

You should be good then. Just as long as the previous owner didn't pound the hell out of it daily.

Welcome to GPF, if you get that GXP, get a trans cooler first thing. It will save you many headaches.
Goldie 98 Topaz Gold GTP (retired)/ Shadow 06 GTO 6.0 Phantom Black Metallic- traded in. Now cruising a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 HD 4x4 with the always fun 6.0L

Thanks for all the info. I got really busy yesterday and couldn't make it to go look at it. Hopefully today when I get off I will go make the purchase if everything looks as it should. I will look for all that stuff, thanks!
