Re: How To: Upgrade Your Fuel Filter!
$12.67 for a fuel filter, wow! My GTP did not require this repair so I spent $8 and did not add a potential leak, whew. Lucky I guess.

And that was on sale for 55% off lol.
Re: How To: Upgrade Your Fuel Filter!
lol rockauto has the better prices for fuel filters. Anyways $12.97 is cheap enough
Re: How To: Upgrade Your Fuel Filter!
I had a $30 Amazon gift card so that's why I got everything off of there.
Re: How To: Upgrade Your Fuel Filter!
well a gift card is a good thing but I've seen some stuff on amazon for our cars that is highly overpriced compared to other sites

That's true. Also, I never really buy car stuff off Amazon because it's not so much an automotive site. It's nice they have a "See if fits!" thing so you don't mess up.
Re: How To: Upgrade Your Fuel Filter!
If anybody is skeptical on doing the job.. I have had mine done and a friend's Gtp for over a year and a half and have had no issues. I've replaced my filter twice (I drive allot). It was worth the slightly higher priced filter
Re: How To: Upgrade Your Fuel Filter!
This job is really easy and really hard to screw up provided you have a brain. Not trying to be rude but it's the truth.
Re: How To: Upgrade Your Fuel Filter!
Good time to switch to AN fittings and run braided lines right to some nice fuel logs

Yeah, looks like a giant mess. I'll stick with Kyle's strategy.

The point of this thread is to get rid of the fuel filter with fittings. Now you want to go back to fittings? LOL
