Hey guys me an my buddy are dropping a cam in to his 97 gtp an I've done this b4 with my car but we hadn't had never the problems with my car than we have with his can u guys help give me any ideas how we can get his crank bolt off we've hit it with an air inpact gun an nothing we've heated it up an use a giant breaker bar an nothing then we heated it up an hit it with the inpact gun again an nothing. If we get a breaker bar on it an get the bar on the ground or on the frame some how can I jump the starter an get the motor to spin it off its self I was gonna try this but I didn't kno if the bolt treads the same way the motor would turn so I wanted to ask you guys your opinions thanks for any advice

The starter trick works on these cars. Regular threads and the crank spins clockwise

IF it doesn't work the first couple of times put your battery on the charger for a little while (or use the jump feature if you have one). That was the ONLY way I could get my crank bolt loose.

    Sometimes...the bolt does fight.

Don't take it as a sign that your manliness is in question. It's fun to bust on buddies if they are helping though.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
