    I'm putting in jvc double din head unit, I have gmos-04 & aswc-1 wiring thing, why won't steering wheel controls work? That's only thing that won't work help ! -05 gxp

    i had same issue in my 00 gt, it would make sound go all way up right when you turn car on, bought it to audio shop, and they had same problem, i lived without steering wheel controls, my 01 gt has a system and steering wheel controls work, same axxess(spelling) adapter, not sure what was up with the 00, may of been astrostart i really dont know.

    Try reprogramming the adapter a couple of times.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    Did you connect the right wires? There are a ton and only one or two need be used, which most likely won't be the same color as the ones coming off the head unit. The Axxess website has a guide for which wires to use, the unit's auto-program should do all the programming for you once the correct wires are connected.

    i have the pac- rps- gm11, wire harness for the steering wheel controls ect... i had everything hooked up, radio working, and so on, when i would hit the steering wheel control, the volume or any other one, it doesnt work, but the blue box from the wire hardneess LED light would light up as if it was getting the signal from hitting the steering wheel control, but they wont work.... anyone know what i should do or y its doing this, i tried programing it, didnt work, its like its getting the signal but not making it work, could the wire harness be bad?
