Good info. I really LOL'd at the Jurassic Park reference. Subbed, cool stuff. Definitely going to have to do the auto up and auto down/up with the passenger door.
So I can finally label this project as complete. All windows have up and down (or open and close if you look at the sunroof), my alarm closes the windows every time I lock the doors (but if I lock them with the door switch nothing happens), I can open all 4 windows with one channel on the alarm, and open the sun-roof with another channel. This was all done with 9 one touch modules (2 for each door and 1 for the "close" side of the sunroof), and a sh*t ton of relays (12 or 13). Point is these things really allow you to manipulate your windows however you want and are free\cheap at the junkyard.
Only thing I may have left out was to mount the boxes with wires facing down so they don't fill up with water. Ask me how I know...
Here's a video of the alarm working with the one touch modules. Your window switches would do the same thing whenever the car is on, tap "Up" on a switch, that window will roll all the way up, tap "Down" it'll roll all the way down. Want the window to stop? Tap the same direction you are going again.

Amazing project and good work!!
I have those functions minus the sunroof on my mazda and love them.
Good now I can bother you with my future remote start/alarm and accessories questions

If you have the auto climate control I can tie that into the alarm, too. I have 3 channels to work with on my alarm. one for the climate control, one for the sunroof, and one for the 4 windows.
Could i use something like this to make an auto opening rear hatch on the Hoe?

Yep, any reversible DC motor. If it draws a LOT of current it might not work, but it'd have to be quite a bit. What are you going to use to actually do the opening?
No idea lol, thought I would see how the new ones are set iirc they have an auto open hatch.

I've tossed around the idea for my trunk, and I think I'd have to replace the shocks with linear actuators. I never did the measurements and looked into it any further since they are $130 a pop.
how does the channel for the climate control work

I took the climate control apart and there was 2 solder pads by each contact of the Auto button so I soldered wires to those, then ran them to a relay. The alarm triggers the relay and the relay shorts the 2 wires together, simulating a button push.

I put an old Molex adapter on the 2 wires coming out of the climate control so I can unplug and remove it when needed.
