hey guys if youre like me.... then you may have constant problems with your pesky little key fob. Youve tried to replace that batteries over and over and it helps for a time but then you find yourself not working again or you have to press really really hard! so you did some research and people say super glue tin foil... that works for a little while but you drop it and the foil comes off... well here is my fix to all of that!!

purchase yourself some Aluminum Foil TAPE

this is NOT the same as this!! learn from my mistake!!

^^^ those are both NO NO NO!!!!

    this is what you want!!

simply cut tiny pieces of the tap and place them over the dots on the back side of the FOB

i believe i used about 3 layers of tape so i didnt have to press down as hard before it made the connection

and BOOM youre done! put it all back together and enjoy your working key FOB

ive had mine like this for probaly 4 or 5 months and had no problems!

The reason this works is because there's an aluminum paint on the back side of the rubber that makes the connection with the circuit boar but it eventually wears off and won't connect that's what the aluminum foil is for

    ENJOY

I actually did the same thing to my fob a while back, more than a year ago (I improvised with aluminum foil and super glue). Still works better than the day I got my car

Nice write-up, very easy to follow instructions and pictures.

That's a good DYI, here is a site that sales a fix with the metal molded into a insert. I bought several of these with good results.
