Ya on any car having a little bit more oil like half a quart more is waaay better than having a quart and half less. Too much oil is bad too but having less is worse.

Thats just cheating! Lolz...
I do too, but this was a write up for newbz... :D

I have the same Flo-Tool oil catch pan. Cap leaks on them, try to find a different brand.
Re: How to change your cars oil. (With Pics)
Good write up. I forget how many pages it took us to teach you(SF9777) and which oil to use.
I use the entire 5 also, I have a small leak on muh pan. My car also likes to mark territory.

fyi for oil...
i know mobil 1 fairly well. having been using for years in all my cars.
for 1 our motors love mobil 1, run a tad cooler and happier.
2. don't use extended performance if youre dailying your car, it tends to make your motor run a bit hot, unless your WOT, then it keeps it cooler, but... it all depends how often youre WOT.
3 don't use highmileage oil ever. they put extra additives in it that eventually gums up your motor.
normal synthetic is your bestest friend.
Mobil 1 preferred :th_thumbsup-wink:

Too bad i did not know mobil 1 was this good when we had our GP, i just started to use Mobil 1 EP on the SUV. Looks like im going to be sticking with this oil for a long time, Even at High milage it think i will still use the Mobil 1 EP. All you need to do is change the oil on time.

Also, for those who don't know, Mobile 1 has a high capacity filter, or what they call extended performance filters, for the GP I think it's M1-201. Almost twice the size :) Same price!
Anyways...
It says that it doesn't fit our cars which I expected but I just want to make sure if it does because I'd be mad if I drained my oil and the filter didn't fit :th_laugh-lol2:

K&N and Mobil 1 oil filters are no longer the same inside. Champion merged with Fram, and K&N outsourced their filter manufacturer to a company first in Korea, and now in China. Lots of reports of K&N oil filter quality issues since Champion in no longer the supplier to K&N.
On a good note, Fram is using Champion's best oil filter as its own now, called " Fram Ultra Synthetic Oil Filter". It is readily available at a great price at Wal Mart and Amazon. Auto Zone does not carry the Fram Ultra Synthetic Oil Filter, they carry a old Fram line at the same price as the Fram Ultra Synthetic Oil Filter sold at Wal Mart (don't buy the Auto Zone Fram filters).
It is great news such a super quality oil filter can be bought at Wal Mart at a price much lower than mid grade filters sold at Auto Zone.
