    I should probably just re-title this thread as dead. I got caught up in learning to build better circuits and program with the Arduino, and then at the beginning of March last year I got myself into a 2014 Evo MR so I lost interest and stopped working on the project.

    Currently fixing up my Prix to sell it, so while this would work in theory, it's probably much easier just to buy the kit that's now available.
