Got mine today too, thanks! No time to install them yet i'm really hoping to AT LEAST install my dads tomorrow along w/ a cabin air filter. I got so much going on though, that may not happen. I'm hoping to at least complete one tommorrow, we'll see....

I got mine today too. other than taking off the windshield wipers and cutting the gasket it was a pretty easy install. after I had the new piece in place i sprayed the car with a hose for a while and not a drop leaked onto the floor board. i just tossed that other plastic oem piece too. im very happy with the new piece and you definitely can't beat the price. highly recommended product. thanks a lot Abrasive you saved my interior and 2nd blower motor

Ok Abrasive, good news! It fit my 2004 Impala perfect, and I took a picture of the parts description for the cover, so for two part covers, if the part numbers match, then it will work.

    Before I did any work

    Picture with the cover removed

The cover itself - looks a lot like the GP cover

Cover part number from my Impala - note GRAND PRIX imprinted, so GPs probably use the same and thus anything using this part works

    New deflector in place

Picture of the finger guide, where it should be

Trimmed the rubber and plastic piece from the bottom of the cover

    Everything back together

I'll be sure to pimp this out if I do make it to the New Jersey NAOIA meet and greet next weekend. I've got some more pictures, but they are just different angles of what I already took. The current write up is good, and Impala can be added to the list of cars this works in! I don't remember if my 2000 Impala had a one or two piece cover, but if you have a two piece, it's a given it works if you have the part with the numbers I gave above.

Thanks for the update on the Impala Deezul! That's great news. I figured it would fit, but had no way to check 100% for sure.

By the way, just FYI, if any of you have a 1 piece cowl and want a 2 piece for just the ease of getting to the cabin air filter, just pick up a 2 piece from the dealer or salvage yard. It will replace your 1 piece with no modifications whatsoever. I believe 2000 was the last year for the 1 piece cowl design, but it might be 2001.
