    ^ Never mind.

I had the windshield changed two weeks ago. Just called the glass shop to see if they remember putting the shield back in. Buddy says that there wasn't one (but the filter was there), but he will get me one, pick up my car, install it, and put fans on the car for the day to dry things up.

I'm cool with that. I'm guessing that they forgot to install it, found it a few days later on the shop floor and threw it out. Then over lunch they put 2 and 2 together and were waiting for my call.

At least now I don't have to search for a water leak.

^Sounds a little sketchy. It's like they're not taking the blame for any water damage, but they are going to patch things up real nice for you. Yeah, they probably forgot to put it back, they know they messed up, and that's why their so eager to take good care of you.

It's pretty common for there to not be one and for the upper piece to be so adhered to the window that it can't leak. Window got swapped..so the seal is broken and poof..you leak.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Got the car back from the glass shop yesterday. Turns out the windshield was leaking, so they removed it, broke it putting it back in, and had to order a new one. My shield was there, buddy said he was thinking of a different car. It rained heavy all night, and the floor is dry, so looks like things are back to normal.

I can't complain. They brought me a loaner car to my work, fixed the problem, dropped my car to me, gave me a Starbucks gift card. Chit happens, and at the end of the day, it is how the shop fixes the problem that matters.

    They get from me.

That looks like a solid fix, I will definetly be looking into getting one. I find that the driver side floor board also gets wet, is there a fix for that side as well?

Mine driver's side has been getting a puddle as well, but I think it's because the rubber seals around the doors are starting to show their age. Since my GP is on borrowed time anyway, unless I can find a cheap fix, I'll just live with it.
