Instead of getting the tray from the s10. I just took the stock air box and cut it to fit it looks like that tray now but my pcm is a lot more snug in it, plus my intake fits also

Did my set-up yesterday... info from here and other threads.

Drilled the 7/16 hole for the sensor into the rubber coupling attaching the elbow to the TB, then cleaned the hole with an exacto knife. Sensor is nice and tight in there and it's all done.

Does the S10 tray work on the 97 GTPs? I believe that spot is a little different in the front (radiator overflow bottle), etc..

I thought I read somewhere that the PCN for the 97's are larger so, I would assume this won't work..

What size rubber coupler and elbow did you use coming off the engine?

Here's how I did mine. Just need to move my coolant bottle and find a way to fit my PCM and I'm good. Not too bad for a first mod if I say so myself. Throttle response and fuel economy have shown a little improvement, plus...it sounds cool!

Ok just finished with my open cone install on my 04+ GTP . Spectre # 9732 $40 at auto zone ( uninstalled the stock box and hooked up the cone filter directly to the MAF adapter). Cut my stock box in half with a skillsaw (the box has a line guide where it was glued together) cleaned it ziptied it and installed the PCM , I also ziptied the cone to the body .

    Before

    After

Took about 1 hour to install, cut box and put together with zipties
