k guys i put new KYB Strut-Plus assemblies on the GP last night, new wires, and a front valve cover gasket
It made a WORLD of difference with the ride quality (can't wait to do the back ones)

The only problem I have is that the steering wheel is cocked way to the left (instead of the right where it was lol) and it tends to drift both left and right kinda like I have to work to keep it in a straight line. Also on uneven road it still tends to act up and steer all over the place.

I'm assuming all of that is due to needing an alignment... hopefully that fixes it?

For the most part I am really impressed. The handling is improved despite the straight line issue; It no longer feels floppy all the time.

I finally got it all done but have a problem. Driver side front strut makes "popping" noise intermittantly. Did I screw up when I compressed the spring and installed the strut mount? I thought maybe something just loosened up, but rechecked all the bolts and they are tight. But the top cap of the strut assembly (in the engine compartment) actually can spin, so I know there is no pressure on it. Can anyone tell me where I went wrong?
