those look awesome
The resurrection of this thread just Inspired me to go buy what I need after work tomorrow lol. Advance Auto has them. last time I used red I'll probably pick up some amber if they have them. I'll be sure to take a few pictures since I just spent another 10minutes searching through dropbox and no luck on a finished picture.

Here are the mirrors off mine before I sent it to GP heaven. The trans went out and I refused to put anymore money into it. There is no backing on the mirrors unless you have heated ones. They're the same as mirrored sunglasses. Mirrored on one side and see through on the back side. I used Bill's way and covered the back side, similar to his pods, so I wouldn't have a halo around the housing. Muth has downloadable instructions with the necessary wires to tap into. I plan on putting them in my convert this spring, or when it warms up.

I can't help that you GP guys never had a heated mirror feature. LOL originally the write up was for a Regal forum.
I was considering doing mine this way, but was concerned a bout the back-glow. I see my concerns were correct. :th_laugh-lol2:
FYI, this is how I did them on my last ride.....clicky clicky
Like I said that shot was before I moved them to behind the mirror I never had any I'll side effects, I'm in the works of doing it again on this car.
You used cheaper style LEDs and glued them in place, okay idea but in past experiences those style LEDs have quality issues and burn out often. The LEDs I use are usually smd sometimes cree depending on application. I also wasn't looking for an actual arrow just a 3 smd led strip at the vertical edge, to each his own :)

Totally didn't finish reading the end of your link, guess it confirmed what I thought would happen lol
The set I did 2 years ago is still working great but the stripes are sealed.

having some confusion with the wireing can some one show me exactly where and what wires I use? Pics would be nice thanks
When I did mine, I used the Muth installation guide that was downloadable as a pdf
Exact location, wire colors, and pictures for the 97-03.
I'm not sure of any changes in location or colors, as mine was an 01. You can look at other GM's for different years, the wiring is mostly the same as other GM brands if needed.
They only have the installation guide for the 97-03 GP

This is awesome thank you so much
