post pics when you're done with the stock bulbs. i was wondering how it would look with just a different color lens or w/e with stock bulbs. I'm still doing it with LEDs just cuz they last just about forever, but still interested in seeing. lol

i couldnt find any colored DVD cases either so i just went to office max and found a transparent blue folder since im doing blue. Cost me like 50 cents for the folder. I'm not sure how well it will work quite yet as im not finished, but i will be done in the morning sometime. will post pictures when im done

i honestly didn't see that much of a difference between the led's and the stock bulbs aside from the fact that the bulbs gave out more light. however, everything looked a nasty shade of yellow. hoping to fix that with better, more powerful, less directional led's. i also just used somewhat transparent folder, and it's not really the color i want so that could have something to do with it as well

just finished mine a little bit ago, looks awesome and will post some pics as soon as i get my dash back together, bout an hour or so. I just plugged it in real quick before going to lunch to make sure it worked.

EDIT: okay, so apparently im a dumbass and cant figure out how to get pics to upload....upload fails every time as an attachment, and the image link is broken anytime i try to link it from photobucket.

i think these 4 pins are the better option, any of those domed ones have focused beams from the ones i saw at the shack. they would be okay on the buttons maybe since they are hardly ever on...

Im hoping its just the stock bulbs, but mine has come out like a greenish colour that Im not exactly happy with. I kinda tried removing the bulbs, but didnt want to snap anything, do you need to cut anything, or do the just pull out/twist out.

twisted mine out with pliars, then pull

if you got those folders and the plastic is thin enough maybe you could wrap the bulbs in it to get a truer color

So could I just put a piece of blue plastic behind it without all the LED crap? would it still light up blue?
