Yeah its an 05. And i found a way to make it work just had to make a hole (for the PCV tube instead of the IAT sensor) It appears we have made it work will update once i get it hooked up just need to get some couplers and I will be fine. BTW we are using some metal piping that we found laying around work that was already fabbed to the shape we needed (imagine that) it will be painted with high temp paint and primer to be metallic blue hopefully that will get done this weekend

Nice dude, get us pics so the 04+ guys can know what to do with the sensor. Good luck!

Will take some this weekend as I work. When i get everything spread out and as it goes in. The piping is already cut with the hole for the sensor. Its going to be interesting but when isnt it?

Is there a "special" way to get the IAT off of the original air intake, I dont feel like cutting it out.

It doesn't pull out. What I would do is just put a nice simple slit with a knife from the outer edge, to the inner edge and try and wiggle it out. That way the stock pipping is not completely destroyed.

Does the stock airbox just come right out? Do you have to keep any of it in there?

i'm not sure which year you've got, but if it's an 04+, it should just pop right up & out, but you'll need to open up the airbox & remove the pcm on the bottom before pulling the airbox out. i removed mine without disconnecting anything, put some rubber underneath & zip tied it down where the airbox used to sit. hope i don't have any problems with that...

anyway, my baby sounds a lot louder & feels better, but sometimes i hear some clicking or rattling from the engine while stepping on it... the filter isn't in contact with anything because i suspended it with a zip tie... any ideas what the noise could be?
