how to paint your engine cover, fuse box, plastics [*]

Not worth the time, buy another cover off ebay. I have seen them pretty cheap from time to time. I sent my fuse box to whitcomb and it looks sweet. Was well worth the $, I wouldve messed it up ha ha.

here is alittle test run i did with mine, i wanted to add stripes in it and i DID NOT, DID NOT Sand down the original paint off the metal...Before i do this for-real i'd like to get the outside of my car 2-toned and same paint to match under the hood so for now it was just a little 2-hour project.

LOL and dont pick on it, i know, i know....

How do you get the fuse box off? can you just take the cover off and then the bolt and nut off the two wires joining? After that, can you take it off and prep and paint it?

You can pick up all you powder coating supplies and materials at
Eastwood Company: Auto Tools, Body Repair, Classic Car Restoration, House of Kolor Paint, Powder Coating
if you really want to do it,,, pick up a used kitchen range with working oven, works really good for small parts, (or wait till the wifey isnt home and use the one in your kitchen

^ looks pretty good..... not a fan of the grilles for some reason... looks out of place.

yea i did it as a test run and im going to have the rust fixed and repaint the car once i can get my ram air hood i want to put two blue racing stripes over the hood. and i was supposed to have my windows tinted yesterday until it overheated.
