WOOOW!! I was actually gonna attempt to do something like that by cutting two of the switch pieces and fiberglassing them together. Looks like I don't have to now. Assuming they will sell just the switch plate.

I made a post about this on the other forum. Here is what I had typed up:

Well, it was awhile ago. So let me see if I can stumble through this.

I wired up the drivers seat like shown in here. Then I spliced the new pass switch grey, black, brown wires into the drivers side switch. Then I ran the pink and blue wires from the pass side switch through the console and under the carpet to the pass side seat connector. The blue wire goes to Pin D-Driver Heated Seat Relay Control. And the pink wire goes to Pin B-Driver Heated Seat Cushion Temperature Sensor Low Reference as well as Pin E-Heated Seat Cushion Temperature Sensor Signal.

Then just cut and glue the two sides together for the switch bezel and you are done. I hope I got all that wiring crap right. Someone let me know if I didn't.

So here are the completely unprofessional pictures of a dirty daily driven car:

That's pretty slick. I need to do this so my passenger side has heat too.
Did that wiring ending up being correct?
Did you just use a dremel to cut the switch plate in half or??

    Yes, and yes.

The pass works the same as the drivers side. Both high and low seem to be one setting. Just hot. But I haven't heard anyone that has found a solution to that.

But I bought a second plate and switch from Morad. Measured and cut a little larger than I needed. Then I sanded and filed a bit to get the exact dimensions.

I supposed if taken the time, I could have done a nicer job. But it is my DD, so it works for me.

I have like 3 or 4 of the switch plates.. I need to give this a try lol. And it's awesome that the wiring works correctly. I also have the one setting for the heat. Not too worried about it honestly. Low I could never really feel anyway lol. If it gets too hot I shut it off.

EasyPerformance sent me a message back about the double heated seat switch. Here's what they said.

To produce a Dual Seat Heater Switch Bezel Assembly, we need two
bezels/switch assemblies to produce the one dual switch bezel/switch
assembly. Either you would need to supply us one or two switch assemblies or
we could supply one or two new old stock (NOS) seat heater switch
assemblies. We can not purchase the bezels by them selves. We can only
purchase the entire seat heater switch/bezel assembly. If we were to supply
the bezels, the price for the switches we would supply would be $65.00 each
for a total of $130.00 for the set of two. Regardless of our getting the
switch assemblies or you supplying them to us, we would charge $35.00 for
graphing the two bezels into a single dual switch bezel and modifying the
passenger switch to be compatible with the seat heater. Keep in mind, if you
were to supply the switches, we can not guarantee the color match or wear
condition between the two switch bezels. If we supply the switches, they
will be a color matched set and will look like new.

The cost per item to order a dual switch bezel from us would be as follows:

Seat Heater Switch Assemblies: $65.00 each ($130.00 for two)

Fabrication of Dual Seat Heater Switch Bezel Assembly: $35.00

    Shipping & Handling: $10.00

I think I might've figured out how to get high and low both to work. I did a seat swap in a 99 with 06 seats and the driverside wouldn't work.(bad element I think)
Anywho...I ened up testing a couple different wires and they both seemed to "active" the seat. It made a clicking noise as if a solenoid was being activated or something. I need to try seperating the purple and yellow (I think...it's been a while) and running them individually to the two wires that "activated" the seat and it might give high and low.
When I give it a try i'll let you guys know. I'll try it with the passenger side first since it's not hooked up at all right now. If it works i'll duplicate it to the driverside and post up how I did it so the rest of you guys can have high and low too. *looks for the cheers smiley but doesn't find it*

Yeah tell me about it. I am in Ohio as well. Was even trying to find a dual switch to make the passenger side independent but only one I found was through "Easy Performance" But they want some ungodly price for making a dual switch of which we have to supply the parts for and they send it back completed for some $130-$200 for just a ****in switch! LOL! Cut and glue that **** together works for me!
