    I have a 97 GP SE, it has roughly 172,000 miles on it so things are needing to be changed....i have worked on my car before but nothing on motor wise but my intake manifold gaskets and valve cover gaskets need to be changed and was wanting to see if people had any input to help me out...i like to do it myself if possible and save some $$ any help would be great thanks!!!

    Lol Ya, you made the same mistake many ppl do, you don't say what you got. Do yourself a big favor and add a good vehicle description to your signature.

    Well, I believe I know what you want to do. I’ll assume you are running a 3.1L engine. I’m kind of talking out of my a$$ because I have never done a LIM. That being said I’m pretty confident I could do it, the main concept is easy. Just stay organized and clean. You just need a lower and upper intake gasket, two coolant elbows and some RTV sealant. I posted a link to a good video, just skip all the valve work. And obvious it is a different engine, but the same basic steps apply. Good luck, hopefully someone with more experience will jump in.

    My bad on not letting you know the motor....it is the 3800 non supercharged motor
