    Hey bud, how much did it cost you to have all that sandblasting and powder coating done? Just a suggestion but maybe edit your post with that info if you have it or remember. It is awesome work and looks fantastic.

    I personally would be interested in how to remove scuffs and scratches 'cause I have a few and Id like to get rid of them if possible.

    Nice write up, and I applaud you for taking the calipers apart before having them powder coated. It worries me when people don't.

    Helpful tip on getting the round rubber bushings back into the dog bones, what you do is use some white lithium grease, and with a pea sized drop, lube the dog bone, and the middle, and the outside edge thats going to be pressed in first.

    Then what you do is get you an old nut and bolt that will fit through the bushing, and tighten it down snug. Then if your a shade tree mechanic you can use a hammer, and hit the bolt and it will drive it in.

    For me, I use my arbor press, but its the same method...just softer, and safer.

    For the calipers, its good practice to lube the piston seal well before installing it back into the caliper. Use brake fluid, nothing else.

    On the rear stock calipers, its good practice to use lube behind the piston dust cover during the rebuild. Of course also good to use it on the guide pins.

    For the F-body calipers, I find its good to use antiseize as pin lube vs. standard caliper lube.
