    Smaller pics method

K so, open google or google photos

    pick your picture

    Hit share

    Hit get link

    copy it

paste using this url. Press generate and it will scroll down to the direct link url. Of course copy that and paste it into the GPF image URL box
I created a shortcut on the desktop for the link.

    https://ctrlq.org/google/photos/?_ga...441.1498697136

    Full Size pics method

    well this is better.
Right click on the photo from Google photos and select copy image address.
Paste that into our image URL box and add -tmp.jpg at the end of the url after no

ive got all my pics saved on my pc, cause phone upload to pc, then upload to pb. so i just dragged my folder of pics and copied 1000 pics over rather quickly into my google photos account.

right click the pic you want to share, click copy image addy or what ever it says and then paste it in the reply window.

    Here's what I see.....

Same thing on my phone with full site view.

From my laptop I see all my images. The last pic in post 1 being done basically the same way as Scotty. I can see it the same way Scotty can see his.

Either way the second post was done with http://geteach.com/staticstreet/.
The pictures where from google drive with the get link option.

This one was done with the geteach.com/directlink Chrome extension from google drive get link.

Scotty how did you get those with the thumbnails below? Those pics are hugeish.

If we can quite relying on hosting services it would be nice to feel independent.

click the insert image icon, then "from computer" tab, then click the choose file button, then upload. its never worked for me before, maybe the site got a auto update or something.

    another experiment.
It shows 2 pics in the preview pane.
One is done with right click, copy image address from google photos and the other with the same address and goo.gl url shortener.

Basically the same thing I did in the last pic from 1st post but without the .jpg at the end.
It works from my sons phone, my phone and logged in and not logged in from my computer.
Let's see how this pans out.

    edit...these must time-out after a day, dernit

This is a pain. My sis has Prime but wont give me access. When I ask her to order something I give her the products. So no need to spend more money to host pics.
I'm a cheap poor bastard who wants a free solution.

The 1st pic is done with the CTRLQ.org method directly from Google photos.
The 2nd is done with the CTRLQ.org method using Google photos within in Google drive.
Big difference. Hopefully these fckers show up for everyone.

Amazon photos is free with a Prime account. A pain to set up, but it's no additional cost and has similar UI to photophucket for hosting.

    Like I said in post #16 there is a reason I don't.

Did you see the 2 different sizes in post #16?

I do see that. Hmm, Amazon had a funny size when I edited my post. It looks ok and fits my screens after posting. Same with yours, just the upper pic is a bit smaller. The larger pic, I can see it's 5:40 (I think). Can't make it out on the other one.
