    1. Jack car up. Use subframe for jack stands.
    2. Remove passenger wheel.
    3. Take the following sensor pigtails off... Rear knock sensor, oil pressure, and speed sensor off of the differential cover.
    4. Remove the 4 - 13mm bolts. 2 long ones facing you and 2 short ones facing the rack n pinion.
    5. Need a medium sized 3/8 22mm socket. I had to get a long socket and cut it down to size because it's not cost effective to buy a medium set and buying one long one was $4.50.
    6. Need a long 3/8 extension and a magnet.
    7. Your goal is to enter the socket only by the CV Axle between the transmission and motor. Once you get it over by the sensor use the magnet to help you position it over the sensor and then put the extension on it. *the gap between the motor and transmission isn't wide enough to fit the socket straight up.
    8. Ready for the loosening time but get a pan ready as coolant will come down. For me it landed perfectly into pan down my arm/hand and ratchet.
    9. Take the magnet and grab the sensor out the side.
    10. Clean up the area.
    11. Install the new sensor and torque to spec...

    14 Ft-Lbs
    168 In-Lbs
    18.98 N-m
    12. Reinstall everything mentioned above.
    13. Refill system with coolant and use water housing to remove air bubbles.
    14. Never buy a BWD sensor product. **** is faulty hence why I had to do this.
***04+ cars or in general but not on every motor may have a knock sensor shield which is 2 - 15 bolts that you want to use a ratcheting wrench and take off first and put on last. Just slide it over to the drivers side while you do the rest above.

Yeah I didn't remove the bracket since it wouldn't come out on my 05' but did basically the same thing.

An engine is an engine no matter the size.... I think Dr. Seuss said that... or maybe it was Big Weld....
