Some have mentioned that there's a possible issue with heat soaking the coil packs so I'm going make a heat shield and add it to the op

And you did an awesome job. I was just pointing out that for the 97-03 guys, they may be able to rob the parts off of a 3.1 to do this. Since there should be a few in junkyards, it could be lucrative to try it. None the less, you have a solution for the 04+ guys. Good work by you.

The ones that have series II motors. I think that starts in 97+. But i think the others are the same plate so really as long as it had the v6 i guess. Any one correct me if wrong.
