I have a 2002 Grand Prix GTP, the other day the door locks started unlocking by themselves. It didn't make a difference if the car was running or not. I removed the battery from the remote and disconnected both door lock switches, it continued to unlock. I'm thinking it's the body control module but I want to make sure. Any suggestions?

I had this happen a few months ago. I could hear it keep unlocking from across the driveway. I have no clue what was going on but it did stop. And hasnt happened since. This is way out there but maybe an airplane above or something caused it? I know sometimes garage doors will do this.

I realize that this post is 2over 2 years old but I did eventually figure out what the problem was on mine. Believe it or not the blower motor resistor had gotten wet and rusted. After replacing it the issue went away. I'm guessing the added resistance on the ground circuit was back feeding into the door locks.
