    The upper is smaller than the lower. I would think that would decrease or narrow the throw of light.

    Originally it was only a running light, with this mod it's the turn signal light and stop light as well, along with the lower still being a stop light...

    It does mean that all 5 of the red lights on the rear of the car light up when you press the brake, which does increase the light output when braking... So technically yes, it would increase the light output, but only when the brake is depressed.

    04 GP GT2: Handling upgrades, go-slow parts, and an attitude. Totaled.

    It took me a while, and reading it multiple times to actually understand it...then it became really simple and easy. Lol

    It's basically a swap between the top and bottom light functions, while still retaining the original running lights location.

    I would still much rather have the turn signal on the top, just because it makes more sense that way.
