Queens new york.99 grand prix gtp 80,000 miles. I over reved in snow last couple weeks.i droped the transmission pan and found believe to be gear band.it wont drive in overdrive only in first and second gear.need to rebuild my tranny. Does anyone knoes a good local shop around queens?.im leaning towards getting a remanufactured transmission from the gm dealer.i dont really trust the local transmission guys. Does any know if the gm dealer gets the transmission from a subcontracter or is it straight from general motors ???
