it has to be after i get my car back from the shop because the timing chain snapped the day after i made the post. i dont have the equipment at my house to do it so i had to take it in. mine has 234,000 miles on it. why did you need to rebuild yours? 0 Thanks, 0 Likes, 0 Dislikes
ok so i just got a call from the shop apparently they just now looked at it and its the piston rings. so im gonna just rebuild the whole bottom end since its apart. 0 Thanks, 0 Likes, 0 Dislikes
they called me yesterday and changed their minds and said it was a twisted cam and its gonna cost $1000 to fix so im just gonna do it myself. anyone have a cam and possibly lifters for a gen 2 3.1 MPFI motor? that would be willing to part with them for around $150. 0 Thanks, 0 Likes, 0 Dislikes
