    Maloro619,
I am sorry that this had happened, that's kind of unusual for the situation. Please contact me and let me know if the melting/burning is really happened because it's abnormal to have the smell if everything install properly.
Please email our technical support for further assistance and our tech team will make sure you get the headlights and HID kit installed without any problem.

    Sorry for the inconveniences.

Your HID kit is supposed to replace the bulbs that are in the low beam. How can you compare both of them at the same time?

i installed them just at spartan had told me to. on the back of the light i cut a hole in the rubber, fed the hid bulb through and installed it.
i flick my high beams on and all i get is the hid bulb, not both the hid bulb and the other bulb also

so yes i can comepare them
    because
when my lowbeams are on ( meaning the stock bulb that came with the projection lights) i only see the whiteness/led corner lights on it and rings.
    BUT
when i click my highbeams on, (HID kit) its like just a blueness type but its like a VERY VERY VERY low beam in a stockheadlight lamp.

so either 1. my kit is foobar. 2. the wiring isnt tottally secure. 3. the kit sucks. or 4. well there is no 4.

    sooo
imma check the wiring, if its all secure and good, then the kit isnt good... but ill double check.

Well.. if you got an H3 kit, that belongs in the low beam. If you got an H1 kit, that belongs in the high beam.

The low beam is the one with the projector lens. The one with the reflector is the High beam. Sounds like you put the H3 kit in the High beam area, where it does not belong.

It belongs in the Low beam area and should replace your stock headlight bulb. I think you wired it wrong because the way your describing it to me sounds completely in correct.. at least to where you wired it lol

Honestly, are these headlights worth 200 bucks. I have read 2 reviews and had very mixed feelings, seems like they are more trouble than there worth when it comes the the mounting tabs breaking and the bouncing. Also, can you run the Halo rings and LED's to the DRL's? and if so I wouldnt assume they would still work at night...?

Thanks for the positive review, Ive read all the other reviews and people still seem to have fixed feelings but I may take a step in that direction. I am also looking into taking apart my own headlights and putting in some angle eyes and wiring to the DRL's. Also are these halo rings very brights, ive heard a lot of people are disappointed about how dark they are. I am guessing they are not CCFL's...that my be the deal breaker right there. I want people to see my angle eyes during the day...

Well yes alot of people have mixed feelings very true.
so if i understood correctly. i gotta put the (hid converison kit bulbs) inside of the light where the black looking eye is correct? not where there is just the shiney chrome reflecter part right? *QUICK REPLY WOULD BE AWESOME*

There are two halo rings correct? Put the H3 HID kit into the outer halo facing away from the center of the car. The one that's right near the orange reflector. The chrome reflector is NOT where you want the H3 bulbs. You want it in the Projector housing part.

Yeah my H3 converison kit is in the housing closer to the middle part near the grills, soo i need to switch them around, so i havent been using my lights to often till i get time which tommorow ill be switching them around, so just to make sure this is correct.
the h3 (converison 6000k ones) go in the outter (left) in the black type projection glass holders right? (that look like black eyes)
