    ah .... you better make sure you know the price. This thread has the 68.98 confirmed for low beam ONLY. If you check the auction, you will see the $$ for high/low is $45 AND $65 shipping....at least that is how I read it. Let us know what you end up paying to the door. And, you may want to review the Giant HID thread in the appearance section on telescopic lamps.

    Dave wanted you guys to send me the money, and then me order the kits all at one time. I guess that way I would have to eat all the paypal charges and the shipping to your door.

    Anyway, I have found another deal that is real close to the same price shipped, and you can buy them out right. Just do me a favor.....when you order the lights and put in the bulb type, color, and daytime phone number as requested, put down GRANDPRIXFORUMS.NET under that....

    Here is the link, you guys can go ahead and buy whenever your ready.....PLEASE post up your thoughts of the kit...

If that's the case would we even have any issues just putting in HID's w/o doing anything else i.e: the adding or removal of relays or even a delay switch like Webracin has?

    You are correct with the numbers on the 04+. I checked sylvainia for lamps.

    9005 = 04+ High beam
    9006 = 04+ Low beam

    Based on this I'll go back with the 9006 6000K

    Okay, there's some confusion. The DRL's for 04-05 GPs are the amber turn signals, NOT the "fogs." they are in the same capsule in the foglight area of the front bumper, but are two different bulbs entirely.If you were to get HID fogs it would not affect your DRL's. In fact, I'm guessing you could run your DRLs and fogs at the same time if you chose to do so. As far as voltage and wiring up a relay or delay, im confused. Regarding the 04-05 GP crowd only, we would just need the 9006 for low beams and the 898 for the fogs(NOT the same as the DRL amber turn signals)? I don't care about high beams, dont use them that often...

    So you didnt want the dual? how was the color of the hid's in the kit that you did buy. I wouldnt mind having a high beam halogen instead of a high beam hid.

    i wanted a single 9007 housing, these kits shipped with the halogen bulb next to it. i was gunna use my fogs to flash people if necessary. its all GM's fault they couldnt make the GP with 2 bulbs. i dunno im gunna give them a try and see when i get my car back, i might like them i dunno.

Explain to me why you didnt want the hallogen high beams and how you can bennefit or what you plan on doing by being able to remove the halogen bulb? take some pics when you are done because i want to compare the color temp to what i was wanting. im glad someone finially bougt some and shared there thoughts with us.

    to me the halogen is useless, you have HID halogens are nowhere near as bright, rendering them useless. to flash the highbeams with a hid is not good because the ballast shuts off and then back on. too much of that and you can burn them out. i had the telescopic bulbs in my old headlights but i wound up putting them in my moms GP, they were good because the ballast still stayed on the bulb just moved up and down to look like a flash. i wanted to run single beam hids because i never really flashed anyone, and the bi xenon kits are like 150$ i wanted to go cheap, ill take pics of the bulbs after i eat

    ahhh ok so with the bulb out then even if you do flash there is nothing to compleate the circut? manaing it wont turn off the ballast?

    no it will turn off the ballast, now when you flash back to low you put power back to the ballast. its like your PC you turn it off and let it sit before you turn it back on or it can surge
